THANK YOU for your support for the 2021 Timmay 5k!
Over the past 7 years, the Timmay 5K has welcomed over 3,000 participants and volunteers. Because of the generous support from participants, volunteers, and our business sponsors we have raised an incredible grand total of over $150,000! While these funds support the Rochester Gift of Life Transplant House – we have also touched numerous lives by creating awareness around organ donation and the process.
The 7th Annual Timmay 5k netted a donation of $22,000, which was given to the Gift of Life Transplant House. This event continues to be a shining example of what the Tim Rasmusson Foundation is all about – Targeting Togetherness to Help Others. When Tim’s family and friends embarked on this journey after Tim passed away – there were really 3 things we wanted to accomplish:
1. Remembering Tim and honoring his legacy – that is of helping others and having fun while you are at it!
2. Bring awareness to the importance of organ donation – and to talk about your decision with your family – “Have the conversation”
3. Bring people together – make spending time with friends and family a priority
We look forward to a bright, sunny event back at Silver Lake for our 8th Annual 5k scheduled for April Saturday April 30th, 2022!
